What to Do If You Smell Gas in Your Property

Do not use switches, flames, or mobile phones indoors if you smell gas. Open doors and windows, turn off the gas emergency control valve if safe to do so, and leave the property.

Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 from outside the building. Do not re-enter until you have been told it is safe.
